FOREX Charting with IB as data feed

Hi,
Could you please tell me how I have to set the instrument manager to get new charts for FX usnig IB as data feed?

I am using this combination (IB as data feed) to trade E-mini and I have no problem at all but I am not able to get the charts for FX. I am now using the version 6.5 but plan to change to N7 as soon as possible. Is there any difference to set the instrument manager (or whatever I have to do addiotionally) using one or another version?

Hi,

Try the following:
- Open up the Instrument Manager under the Tools menu
- Search and highlight the currency you want to trade
- Click the '<' button
- Do this for all currencies you wish to trade
- Click the OK button
- Open up a Chart or Dynamic SuperDOM
- Select a 1 minute chart for the currency
- See if data is coming in

I did that already and I got a black chart.
I have selected IB in the Instrument Manager (miscellaneus options) so should I deselected it?

In V6.5, try resetting your instruments under Tools--> Options--> Misc tab--> Reset Instruments.
Then add currencies again who aren't listed by default and see if you can bring up a 1 minute chart with 5 days back.
