When i try to launch ninjatrader i get an error message that says unable to connect to database. Then i click ok and it has another error message that says assertation failed and when i hit retry it says no registered JIT debugger was specified. Any help, thanks.

Hi ferg2335,

Thank you for your post.

- Does this happen on every ocasion?
- Can you check your system specs and see if they measure our minimum system requirements:
http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/support_installationguide.htm

Also please delete your database and then restart the software. Go to Start menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6--> DB--> NinjaTrader.MDB. Right click on NinjaTrader.MDB and then Delete. Now restart NinjaTrader.

Yeah it does this all the time. It used to not do this but my computer got screwed up when the power went off and so i had to restore my computer. I reinstalled ninja but the application wont launch. I tried deleting the database file and that didnt solve the problem. My computer more than meets the system requirements.

Hmm ... I guess we are pretty out of ideas here. To double check:
- hardware system requirements are met?
- software requirements are met?
- deleting the DB file did not help?

How trying a fresh NT setup (you will loose all your data and settings)?
- uninstall Nt6 via control panel
- manually delete <my documents>/NinjaTrader6 and <program files>/NinjaTrader6
- uninstall .NET 2.0 framework
- clear browser cache
- install .NET 2.0 from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=en
- download and install NT6 again
