I'm probably missing the obvious but I don't see how the Max. Drawdown figure is calculated within the Summary tab of the Backtest results.

I have attached a screenshot of the Summary and Trades tabs and was expecting to see Cum.Profit to show $-605 at some point.
I can't see where the figure of $-605 on the Summary comes from.

The only other place I can find the $-605 drawdown figure is in the Graphs tab showing the Drawdown plot.

Any chance of some enlightenment :-)

Hello FatCanary,

Here is the definition for DrawDown:
http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/HelpGuideV6/MaxDrawdown.html

It takes the highest account value - lowest account value, which will not typically be equal to your running cumulative profit.

Hi Ryan

I had already read that part of the manual but, upon re-reading it and doing some manual calculations, it now makes sense.

Thanks for pushing me back to reading the manual :-)
