back-up error - used by another process

I’m getting an error when trying to back-up my database.

When trying to back-up I am being told (via the attached error message) that the database is being used by another process. I’m starting to get concerned, I’ve not be able to back-up for quite some time.

Any thoughts?

This indicates that another program was using a NinjaTrader file. Can you try rebooting your PC and let me know if the error appears again.

Thanks for your reply on a weekend.

Yes, I have tested this. It makes no different. After a clean reboot, I go into back-up the database and get the same error.

Can you please attempt to create a Backup with Database unchecked. If you continue to receive the error message uncheck items one by one and let me know if you are able to successfully create a backup at any point.

Also can you tell me if you MS LiveSync active? If so please disable this feature and let me know if the issue persists.
