View Full Version : Global Crosshairs Caused Unhandled Exception

I just created two ES 09-07 charts, one for 30 Seconds and another for 1 minute, and then selected each chart in turn and pressed Ctrl-G for each to enable global crosshairs.

Then I moved the crosshairs around and after just a few seconds, I received an "unhandled exception".

I've been able to easily duplicate this a number of times.

I've attached the data associated with this problem.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can tell you about this error.

Best regards,

Next NT6 release will hold a fix to address this issue. This release will be available within the next 2 weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

So glad for your news Dierk.. as this happens so often lately and often clicking on continue won't clear the exception and I have to shut my NT down in the middle of trading.

Really looking forward to the fix. Thanks for being so attentive. I think you guys provide truly excellent customer service and that is definitely not the norm in this industry.

Best Regards,
EZ

This just started happening to me. I think I have it pinned down to when I added TICK and TRIN charts to my workspace. They have a black Background. I will test to see if thats is whats causing it.

I turned off the Crosshairs in the charts with black backgrounds, and the problem went away.

I just downloaded and installed NinjaTrader Version 6.0.1000.5 and this problem now appears to be fixed. Thanks!!!

Would it be possible to add a "global-slider" feature, where when you slide the time frame on one graph it slides all graph displays in synchronization? This would go very well with the global crosshairs and make them much easier to use.

Best regards,

This feature is actually already implemented for NT 6.5 that will be released this fall.
