If I use interactive brokers will I be able to execute orders through ninjatrader for options like the SPDR (SPY). Does ninjatrader support execution of calls and puts with any broker if not this one. I love ninja and would love to trade the SPY on the DOM, is this possible?

Unfortunately Options trading is not supported at this time within NinjaTrader. This has been requested by other users and we hope to offer this to customers in the future.

Can I chart the SPDR SPY though. It would be a great help if I could just chart it using ninja, if so how do I do it since I cannot find the symbol in the instrument manager.

Yes, you can chart SPY within NinjaTrader.

To load SPY within your chart please open a chart with a known instrument that loads correctly. Once the new chart is open within the chart begin typing SPY within the chart which will bring up a Change Instrument window. After you have input SPY within the Change Instrument Window please hit Enter.

After this procedure SPY will be available within your Instrument Manager as well.
