Hi Support,

How do I make sure that when I am closing Ninja I can save all of my charts on which my support/resistance levels are marked. I will have a few charts opened. But I noticed that when close and open Ninja, sometimes all charts that were previously opened,do not show up. How can I make sure that I save them, before closing Ninja.

Thanks
RK

Hello RK:

Thank you for your post.

Chart Properties and indicator settings can be saved by right clicking in the chart and go to Templates > Save as or Save as Default.

More information can be found here:
http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/HelpGuideV6/Templates.html

If you are using drawing tools to mark your support and resistance lines, unfortunately, these do not save on a chart for later retrieval.

At the moment, you must not close this chart prior to exiting NT. If you leave the chart open and only shutdown from the Control Center, this chart should open as is the next time you launch NT.

We will be implementing a workspace save feature in NT 6.5, scheduled for fall release that will allow for charts to be saved to a workspace for improved retrieval.

Best regards,

Thanks Ryan. The workspace save feature will be really helpful to save one set of charts along with their drawings/lines, so that they can retrieved after closing the charts.

Thanks
