Charts compressing......

It seems that no matter what chart I load as soon as I start to do anything the chart starts a slow decompression until the bars are squeezed into a little line. Price scale is set to automatic and everything else is normal. I am on version 18 though. I've tried to close and reload charts but still the same thing. Any thoughts.

I'm not sure what would be causing this. Do you get the same results when running a blank chart? (No indicators applied)

Actually, everything seems fine with a blank chart. I don't understand how an indicator could be causing the chart to compress like that. Any ideas?

Hi Jeff,

It could be returning values that don't match the price scale. If that's the case, a quick solution is to set the indicator scale to Overlay (through the right click > Indicators screen)

Best steps from here is to isolate which ones may be contributing here. Start with a blank chart and add indicators slowly until you can identify which one is causing this. You may have to contact the author or vendor to find out if this behavior is expected or not.
