$TICK and $TRIN from Tradestaion

How can I get $TIC and $TRIN to feed in from Tradestation? I get "Instrument not Supported" error in the log. Where else can I get this data and can I use it in a strategy?

That is weird, Tradestation should provide both the $TIC and $TRIN. Are you subscribed to receive data for Indices with TS?

Tick and Trin diaplay fine in Tradestation. The error log is from NT.

If you have OpenTick you can get $TICK and $TRIN from them. Their symbol mapping are $TICK|N and $TRIN|N respectively.

When you open charts for them select "Index" for the Type and use "TICK" and "TRIN" for the Name.
