Hello,

I want to use Heikin-Ashi charts and there is only the HA-Indicator in the version 6.5.... So the other indicators (RSI, MA,...) I plot on the chart are not calculated on the Heikin-Ashi-OHLC but on the underlying OHLC bars (time based, tick,.. whatever)...

So I downloaded the NT version 7, because i read that there should be real HA-charts... but nothing there..

Has someone any ideas how I get my indicators calculated on the Heikin-Ashi-OHLC data?

Thanks a lot!

bye

Hello,

Not in NT6.5, but I will have someone post regarding NT7 on Monday.

Hello ikeaboy,

Unfortunately it is the same in NinjaTrader 7. It does not support a Heiken Ashi period type - you can add a Heiken Ashi indicator in your chart as in NT 6.5.

However, you can select the Heiken Ashi indicator as 'Input series' for other indicators you like to apply in the chart, see screenshot.
