I have a demo. Zen-Fire is connected per the green block in the lower left-hand corner. When I create a chart, however, nothing loads - just a blank screen. What to do? Thanks

Hello jfhorton,

Thank you for your note.

Please answer the following questions so I may further assist:

Are you receiving data within the Orders tab of the Control Center?
Are there any error messages in the Log tab of the Control Center?
What time interval chart are you attempting to open?
When you right mouse click within your chart are you able to Reload historical data or is the option grayed out?
What instrument and expiry month are you attempting to load?
I look forward to assisting you further with this issue.

I just noticed that the defaulted contract is 06/09 not 10 - how do I change that? That's the problem - wrong contract

The current ES contract will be ES 09-10. Please follow the instructions below to rollover the expiration date of a futures contracts.

From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
Highlight the contract you wish to rollover in the left side of the Instrument Manager window
Press the ">" button (the instrument will disappear from the list)
Press the "<" button and the instrument should re-appear with the front month expiration date

I changed the instrument to 10. Now when I insert a chart, the format data series says "you need to select an instrument". I have future as "Type" and ES 07-10 for "Name"

Do you currently have the ES 09-10 instrument in your Default list? If so please set Type to Defualt and select ES 09-10 from the Name drop down window.
