Saturday at 3:00 PM beta .15.
I opened ninja. Some of the charts would not load. This occurs frequently on the weekends... I have deleted all historical data. I have set fetch historical data from server when possible.
I have the correct SESSION sesttings ...and days to load 15 ..the charts are stuck on "LOADING DATA"

I initially complained about this in another thread but cannot seem to find that thread...

Here is a screen shot of what i am seeing.
Closing the chart and re-opening the chart ....with a new chart ...yields the same result ..it gets stuck loading data .. on Saturdays ...and Sunday am...

mjc4118,

Do you have the ticket # for the files you sent in? I am having difficulty sifting through the support tickets to find it. Thank you for the assist.

For your loading data chart, can you please provide the data provider you are using and the instrument and chart settings applied? Thank you.

// Then in the midst of loading it seems you disconnected. What was happening was you were loading things in the background for maybe some of your other charts. Please give it some more time to load all the necessary data for your complete setup.

I figured part of this out. There seem to be 2 issues here.

One issue - > readily solvable is that Zen-Fire says ther servers are not readily available or may be being "serviced" over the weekend from Friday at 5:00 PM to Sunday AM ... so the data is not being sent.

So part of the problem is clear.

The second part of the issue (please see screenshots) is that on SOME windows the application thinks the window is minimized ...when it is not.
So ...there is no chart drawn ...just a Huge "title bar" .... I found I can right click on the window and select "restore" and the chart draws. So somehow an App property may or may not be being set under Vista for some "minimized" windows .... And restarting the app is not drawing the window minimized on workspace restore.

2 screenshots attached.

Thanks. Development is looking into it.

Hi mjc4118 !

We could identify and solve the problem you described in post #9 (strange looking window). Problem was, that minimized charts of non active workspaces could show this behaviour when you switched to that workspace.

Fix will be available with the next update of NinjaTrader.

Thanks for reporting,
Christian
