View Full Version : Zen Fire Trin and Tick
With Zen Fire I am unable to get Tick or Trin data. Spoke to Mirus Futures and they said that Tick and Trin are not available through Zen Fire. This does not make sense to me. Can you confirm. If this is true, I believe it makes it impractical to use Zen Fire. Can you confirm?

That is correct. You might consider checking out any of the NT supported data feeds to get index data from there: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/support_connectionguides.htm

Zen-Fire is a brokerage service and not a market data vendor. Tick/Trin data are generally only provided by market data vendors or securities broker dealers, not Futures introducing brokers.

You might consider opentick for those items not available in zenfire

Is there any audio alerts available on ninja charts? Also having problem when opening up in the morning, the tick/volume/second charts do NOT load correctly. they load info from when i signed off till i sign on the next day in 1 candle.... I have I.B. for data source..

- Unfortunately the charts do not have auto alerts. However you could check out the market analyzer alerts or the NinjaScript PlaySound() method. The latter would require custom coding indicators or strategies
- IB does not support tick nor volume data

I'm having a similar problem getting TIKQ and TICK data from tradestation. i've tried the mapping but no result. anyone have any suggestions?

I just tested the TICK index from TS and was unable to receive data as well. I will have to run some tests of the symbol mapping later today and will be able to work with you through our Support Queue.
