Daily charts display outside session hours

Ray,

I have my daily futures set up to display data from 9:30AM to 4:15pm. Despite this the daily chart still paints a most recent bar outside of session hours.

I also have a 60 minute chart that is also set for the same RTH. It is not painting until session open.

I assume this is a bug...

Session settings are only effective for intraday data series but not daily data.

So Dierk, it doesn't mention this in your help does it?
This is a very very common request. Most traders want a RTH daily chart.

I have spent a lot of time trying to find out how to do it.

1. Format instrument daily
2. chart properties
attempt to set session start and session end
---no settings.
