Importin historial data

Hi,
I was wondering if I have any data in spreadsheet format (csv etc). Can I import this data then and display it in a chart?
I have my own breadth indicators that I need on a End of day basis. I saw that there is a function to import historical data and maybe I can use that and display my data in chart like an instrument.

Yes you can import historical data to be displayed within your chart. This data will need to be .txt format when importing.

I cannot get daily chart to populate. Gain said they support daily chart
And my workspace does not open and l do not know where to get the chart populate.. I followed the information library

Hi forsouls,

GAIN does not provide daily historical data, and likely you are using the NinjaTrader servers for historical data, which will not provide historical daily data either. Please see the following link for more information.

You can simulate a daily chart by using 1440 minutes as the interval.

As for the workspace issue can you please remove and recreate the workspaces and please let us know if the issue persists. To delete your workspaces:

Please close NinjaTrader and go to your desktop Start menu
Open My Documents
Go to the NinjaTrader 6.5 folder
Go to the Workspaces folder
Right click on all XML documents and select Delete
Now restart the application and it should start up normally
