I think that it is not possible to have running 2 instances of NT at the same time from the same source files. Might it however be possible to have 2 installations of NT NT1 and NT2 in both Program files and in docs and settings. Then be able to run one instance of the program from each installation. For example running install 1 to my broker and running install 2 in replay mode. This assuming that replay data is available in the correct place.
Thanks

Hello:
Thank you for your post.
Please see the following in regards to running multiple instances of NinjaTrader. You must have 2 pc's in order to accomplish this.

You might try renaming a copy of the NT executable and see if it runs.
Or you could get Virtual Machine software from VMware or Microsoft (They both have free versions) and load another copy of your OS into it. Don't skimp on memory though!

This is definitely not recommended since it could throw up NT internal operations.

That's great. Please note that we are unable to provide support on such broken system.

Yup. Another interesting bug - when installing NT as administrator under user account, the user then cannot delete icon from desktop, only admin can because weirdly that icon gets shared between two desktops :)

This is standard windows behavior: as you install software as admin you should be able to "impact" the installation as non admin user. Please consult MS docs for details.
