getting custom template to work on chart

I'm trying to get some templates loaded so I can place them on charts. They are from the same person, and neither work, the chart is blank when I add either one. He also sent me his indicators, which I loaded (documents-bin-indicator, correct?) He may not have sent the right ones, waiting for him to get back to me on that.. in the meantime is there anything I can try to get them to work?

Hello,

I suspect the template is referencing the wrong indicators or something like that. If the templates don't work, try to recreate them to sort out where the issue is.

I tried doing what you said and the problem seems to be systemic. A new chart with no template comes up blank, no candlesticks, etc. and when I add indicators they don't show. What do I do?

For the instrument that you are applying these "templates", can you pull up a new chart and get a normal clear chart?: file>new>chart.

No, I can't. That's what I meant by my last post. I can't get a plain chart to load. I'm supposed to type in eurusd, for instance, for the symbol name, is that right? What else can I try?
