View Full Version : Failure in reinstalling NT

Hello,

Ninja Trader was running when something went wrong with my laptop power supply and my platform was shut down.
When I re-launched NT, the workspace was restored then I immediately got an error report in a window titled "NinjaTrader application" offering to send to Microsoft which I did not.
I wanted to uninstall NT from via Control Panel but I could not find the relevant menu to do so; so I first uninstalled NT from Windows XP menu then I re-installed it.
When I launched it, I got the same error report; everytime I launch NT, it proceeds to restoring the workspace but I immediately get this message :

NinjaTrader application
Error signature

and NT disappears as soon as I click any of the button in the error window.

What should I do to recover ?

Please delete the following file and then try starting NT.

My Documents\NinjaTrader 6\workspaces\Default.xml

I've done so.
But when I attempt to connect to Zen-Fire which was operating 2 hours ago, I get the text "Connecting - Zen-Fire" but it never comes green and when I try to disconnect from it I get the message : "Login failed".

When I try "Connect Market Replay Connection" I get the message :

Login failed: Cbi.Connection.ConnectNow: Failed to call IAdapter.Connect: GetObjectSet failed for NinjaTrader.Cbi.Account

It could be that your database is corrupt. Please shut down NT and delete the following file and restart. Unfortunately, you will lose historical trade data.
