xp 32 bit to win7 64 bit restore problem

Hello

I'm trying to do a full backup/restore from NT7B10 XP-32 to NT7B10 Win7-64, and I'm getting (paraphrased)

unable to restore archive, could not load file/assembly ....bin\custom\Tmp\.......dca.dll or dependency. Attempt was made to load a program with incorrect format.

any ideas?

I don't think that restoring 32bit from a 64bit archive or vice versa works.
