Price Alert question using a floating price line

Is there any way of setting up a price alert with audible alert that would be in the form of a trend line on a chart that you could easily slide from price point to price point on the chart to change the alert price point, without having to open up pull down screens in Ninja?

You can use the indicator "PriceAlert" to set such an alert, just be sure to have the Alerts window active.

I suggested this basic feature over two years ago and still it is not included. Three other software packages I have used have all included a feature where you can draw a line (not only horizontal) and set an alert. Please explain why such a basic feature can not be included in the actual program itself?

As in Ninja 7 now you can draw a line and then access it programmatically I am sure that it would not take much code to add this facility. I really hope that it can be added at a later date. Ninja has come so far it is a pity that the lack of this basic facility lets the product down.

I am currently evaluating NT and the feature of accessing a horizontal line programmatically right now is my deal killer. Any idea if this will be implemented on NT 6.x or only on 7? And if only on 7, any idea when 7 will be released?

It is implemented on 7. I have been using it for some time and it works without issue.

I don't believe there is a solid release date yet, but you could sign up for the beta.

I tried this "indicator" Price Alert.
I added indicator, in my example on 6B at 1,5410

BUT!!!

when I change underlying from 6B to 6A the alert also is changed to 6A at 1,5410

Does anybody know a better price Alert indicator or better way to have alert lines on different underlyings same time active?
