View Full Version : NT fails at startup

I'm unable to start up NT after an earlier crash, again getting the "NT has detected a problem and needs to shut down..." message. I went to backups to get today's trace file so you might have a look, but the same error message comes up when attempting to open the file, preventing access. Any ideas on what to do next? Thanks.

Goose4all,

From the sounds of it, Windows 7 Service Pack 1 is installed on this PC. Is that the case?

Hi Goose4all,

Releases of NinjaTrader prior to 7.0.1000.3 and Windows 7 Service Pack 1 are not compatible.

If you'll remove SP1, you can continue using NT 6.5 and NT 7.0.1000.2. If you need to have SP1 installed for other programs, you'll need to follow the upgrade steps which are listed for 7.0.1000.3 at our download page: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/download_download.htm
