have been trying to figure out this problem and I think I have determined the issue. I have installed the NinjaTrader .exe file on the bootcamp partition running Windows 7. I have configured Windows 7 with all my applications including NT to be mirrored when I launch in VM mode shared with MAC OS SL. When I launch NT in VM and check the machine ID, the number I see is
5209D54D4ABE8A3B91999CE49EF5AAD6 . All is correct thus far. Here is the where I am lost. When I launch the bootcamp partition (Windows mode only)
and run NT the machine ID indicated is now ACD0A2D4EF7F3EEAD00BC3011708C326 which is not on file, therefore I receive errors that my custom charting package is not registered to this ID. Not sure if Ninja is able to detect if you are running their trading platform on different platform..sort of. Please let me know if you are aware of a work around so I am able to run NT on both bootcamp and VM seamlessly.
