Hello,

This was with version 4.7.0.3. Not sure if it happens with the latest 4.7.0.9, but it's easy to test. Connect to IQFeed to bring up the IQ dialog box. Then click on the quit button in that box. You get this, and it rapidly fills up your disk. Regardless of cause, no code should log like this in an infinite loop.

regards
Dave

dave1992,

Please be sure you are on 4.7.0.9 when using NT7. We cannot guarantee anything with unsupported versions.

Well, I only got notified of the new version this morning, so presumably you were supporting the old version up to yesterday

dave1992,

We have been using 4.7.0.9 for awhile. Please update so we don't chase something old. Thank you for your efforts.

In regards to the message, it looks to originate from IQFeed as a native message.

A minor issue with NT7 and IQfeed: I use IQfeed with multiple applications. If IQfeed is already loaded, NT7 generates the error message: ""Only one instance of IQFeed is allowed". It then connects anyway. I suspect NT7 needs to check if IQfeed is already loaded before loading it. None of my other apps have this problem.

kdoren,

I believe it simply means that it won't load a second instance of IQFeed and then tries to connect to the preexisting one.

That's exactly what it means; as I said, it's a minor irritant, but I have 3 other apps which connect to IQfeed, and none of them generate an error message if it's already loaded. NT is the only one.
