Symbol & Exchange questions

Hi,

I'm using NT 6 with my IB account. when i try to add a stock symbol that other than the ones listed in the US, it doesnt seem to work. For instance, the canadian stocks listed on TSE/TSE-V. I tried to change the exhanges, set the correct currency; but i still dont get any data, etc.

Also, what is the forex symbol format when using NT 6 with IB? and I'm assuming the "default exchange" is the IB "Smart Routing", correct?

- you need to add the new symbol to your instrument list in order to get data. This is a know issue on our list.
- NT does not support FOREX trading through IB
