Suggestions for Automated Trading

I have been using the NT simulator for a few weeks to test some automated trading strategies and I am impressed with what I have seen so far. That said, I would like to offer the following suggestions:

1) According to the documentation on the website, NT will check for new order files every 300ms. Personally, I would like NT to be able to check more often than that (say, every 50-100 ms). I think it would be great if this check interval could be adjusted by the user. Different traders have different needs with regard to performance and making the check interval a user controlled setting gives NT more flexiblity.

2) Provide a DLL that allows 3rd party software to directly interact with NT. Giving the user the option of using the DLL over the text files could result in a significant performance increase depending on the trading strategy being used.

1) In the next major release NT will not be timer based. Files will be read and processed the instant the hit the hard drive. This of course removes any delay introduced by the timer approach.
