I am getting an error on trying to import a ninja script - -the you have a custom ninjascript with programming errors...

I went to tools edit ninjascript. I then selected a nnjascript at random and opened it up. I try right clicking to compile but I get another error message.

In the error messages at the bottom that are showing, it is looking for two specific indicators - -woodies CCI and a jurik one. These do not show in my indicator list so I cannot delete them. I believe this may have been a part of a strategy I had imported with NT6.5. But under my strategies i also do not see a strategy here that is not a sample strategy.

Same issue when I open up a strategy and try to compile - -same error.

Any idea where this indicator/strategy maybe hiding??

Thanks

Maybe a clean instal of NT7 required??

deurich,

Please go to File>Utilities>Remove NinjaScript Assembly and remove the incompatible script that may have been installed there.

I have tried that as well but still get the error message - custom ninjascript errors that must be removed first. May have to do a clean install of NT7??

Thanks

Dean,

Yes, please reinstall to get a clean NinjaScript assembly. Uninstall and then delete Documents\NinjaTrader 7 before reinstalling.
