Hello!

When I try to export data it works sometimes, other times it doesn't. I'm using IQFeed. I can export ES 3-10 data just fine, but if I try to export say AAPL by going to Tools->Export Data it says "No Historical Data Found" yet I can pull up a chart with the same dates.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your post.

One thing to check is that you have the specific bar interval for the type of data you are attempting to export. For example: If you are trying to export volume bars, this requires historical tick data.

Hi,
Still having a tough time with this. I spoke with IQFeed on the telephone and they insisted it's something going on with my software.

I'm able to export Historical Data for some instruments (ES 3-10 and AAPL), but for most, I cannot export any data at all despite playing around with Bar Type, To/From Dates, and even charting the data first/simultaneously.

Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you.

One thing to try is delete the data, redownload, and export again. To delete, go to Tools Historical Data > Delete.

When you say "redownload" the data before trying to export it, what do you mean by this?

HI Crumbs,

Redownload by opening a new chart. Then, right click on your chart and select "Reload Historical Data".
