No superdom came up when opening NT this morning, as it normally would. I thought that when closing NT by clicking on "Yes to All" when asked to save workspace "Default" my superdom strategies and preferences would be backed up. When I go to Workspaces - Open Workspace no workspaces are shown, the window is blank. When I go to My Documents - NinjaTrader 6.5 - workspaces - the Default file is there, containing 46 KB. Shouldn't this file show up the Open Workspaces, and enable me to restore my superdom? Thanks.

Hi,
Thank you for your post.
The default workspace is created initially in order to start NinjaTrader with a named workspace. If you save your workspace with the name default, that should be available in the File>Workspace menu, under Open Workspace...
I recommend creating a new workspace, and saving it, giving it a custom name That way the workspace will be available from the Open Workspace menu.
NinjaTrader will open up the most recent workspace upon startup.

Thanks, Tim. I thought I might have to start over, it's just a few minutes worth of work, but...
1) Do you have any idea how this file might have been lost?
2) Isn't there a simple way to move the default file back into workspaces?
Thanks.

Hi,
Hard to say what caused it not to be saved specifically.
When shutting down NinjaTrader, it's best to just exit the Control Center, then select the necessary save options. Occasionally, users will close windows one by one, then save the blank workspace over the previously saved one.
In the future, you have the option to create backups of the workspaces via the File>Utilities menu.
