e signal connection woes

Hi,
I have downloded the latest version of esignal. I created an account for it using account connection. I get this message. Attached i the picture of the error message. Pls help.

- Is this the complete error message?
- Is NT installed in that directory?
- Is this directory located somewhere on the network or on your local PC?

Yes the directory is on a network.

Pls could you provide me with a solution

We experienced issues when <my documents> is located on a network. There is no resolution to it as of now, apart from installing it on a local PC only.

Hi,

I just confirmed it from the netwok guys that c:\dcuments and settings\manishs\ninjatrader6 is on the c drive. it is not on the network is it necessary that NT6 needs to be loaded on c:\programfiles.

right now NT6 is located in c:\documentsandsettings\manishs\mydocuments\Ninjat rader6. It is on c drive but not in c:\programfiles.

Will reinstalling it in c:\programfiles help

Standard NT6 installation creates 2 different directories:
- <program files>/NinjaTrader 6, holding all the (read only) program files. This by default is "c:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 6"
- <my documents>/NinjaTrader 6, holding all your (writable) user files. This by default is "My Documents\NinjaTrader 6"

Both directories should be located in your local PC.

I tried to go to the link that you mentioned and try to follow the steps. I have a strange problem. I know that .network 2 is already installed on my pc. I can see it in add/remove programs.

But when I try to edit it in contol panel\administrative tools i can see only .network ver 1. Not sure what is the problem. I am all confused.

This is .NET SDK 2.0 which you need to download and not (!) the .NET 2.0 runtime which you already have on your machine.

i triend to install that SDK thing from the link that you posted. Still i keep on getting the same message... So it is still not working. I have foll on my pc.
.Net framework 1.1
.net framework hotfix
.net framework 2.0
.net framework SDK.

What do I do.

Where are these directories located on your PC? Please provide complete (!) patch names:
- <my documents>/NinjaTrader6
- <program files>/NinjaTrader6

Sorry for the confusion.

I mean to say that I have all the .net framework things on my computer. Thought I let you as in one of the threads you told someone to knock of that .net framework 1.1 and hotfix and keep only net framework 2.

you remember the link you sent two days ago of how to run NT6 on a network. I dnloaded that SDK thing and made the changes recommended there in.
Incidently last night i set up NT6 at my house. It was a breeze and all was fine. I know a number of people in who have set up NT6 on pc connected to a network

Attached is the pictre of the file search for Ninjatrader. One folder is in C:/programefiles/
And the other is in c:documentsandsettings/manishs/mydocuments/Ninjatrader6.

My guess is that I should uninstall NT6 and re install it.

Ok, let's try this:
- uninstall NT6 via control panel
- clear you browser cache
- download latest NT6R3 and save to your desktop: www.ninjatrader-support.com/ninjatrader/nt6/NinjaTrader.Install.msi
- install
