I’m having difficulty getting large amounts of historical data to load correctly on charts and could use a little help. I’m using NT 7.0.0.6. I have historical data going back to October 2002 for the Russell. I also use Zen-Fire were NT is configured to get data from your servers if available and the data options is set to MergeNonBackAdjusted.
Here is the process I used to import the data:
1) NT disconnected from Zen-Fire
2) Using the Historical Data Manager I imported my data file
3) If I create a chart at this point I can see all my imported data
4) I connect to Zen-Fire
5) Zen-Fire starts loading available data
6) The chart now has a data gap between the dates 3/13/2008 and 8/4/2008 – otherwise it appears correct
What would cause the data to be displayed this way? If I check the Historical Data Manager under the edit tab I can see the data missing on my chart. I have a feeling that the NT data server fills data back to 8/4/2008 and then has difficulty grabbing the imported data stored locally on my machine.
I attached a couple screenshots. Please let me know if I can provide further details.
