NT will not start

When I attempt to start NTI get the following message:

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id=0xb08(2824), Thread id=0xb0c(2828)

Shortly after posting this question I was able to start NT with no problem. I would still like to know what happened and how to fix this if it happens again.

Depends what NT version you are using. With V3 its because you are using the incorrect TWS API, V4 because of a missing components. See installation guide on website steps 2-3.

I am using V3. Should I change my API? This is the first time this happened and it is no longer happening.

I now have a similar problem:

Have installed .Net, then NT 4.0.33. When I try to start it I get the following error message:

NinjaTrader Version 4.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services
