Hi Ninja Team,

I've been talking to a local brokerage about using NT with their TT infrastructure, and some questions were asked;

Is NT TT "certified" to work with the TT Fix Adapter (one of the brokers commercial offerings) or with TT X Trader Pro with the XT API (another of their commercial offerings). Both of those would come at a different cost to me. Their preference seems to be to sell me the TT Fix Adapter if NT is certified to work with it.

Can you give me a brief overview of how using Ninja in a TT plant would work? More of a question for TT perhaps but would using the Fix Adapter still allow me (well, the broker) to set position limits etc in TT's Guardian?

Thanks!

NinjaTrader is certified to use TT Fix Adapter. Guardian (I believe) still controls all of your risk parameters but as you said, that is a question best directed to your broker.

Thanks Ray. Any update on TT and NT7? Specifically wondering if the overnight hold/position reporting thing has been worked out.

From your NT7 Beta notes;

Trading Technologies

We advise you to NOT trade live with a Trading Technologies connection as there have been significant changes made that may require configuration changes on your FCM's TT FIX Adapter servers
We will update this once we have more information
Receiving market data should be fine

Hello MXASJ,

Holding positions overnight with TT will be supported in NinjaTrader 7, providing your FCM supports this as well on the server side.

Unfortunately there are no updates yet regarding live trading with NinjaTrader 7 beta and TT.

Hello Ray

Does NT7 support XTAPI or just a connection via FIX?

Thanks
