Just curious ...
The way NT rolls contracts now ... the old prior month data seems to be left there... collecting dust so to speak.
My NT database is over 68MB now ... not huge ..
But I'd hate to see it after a year or two .. with tick/min data for all these old contracts there ....
So how does one clean this up?

Zoltran,
We will be introducing historical data editing capabilities later this year. Although currently not spec'd, it could include a function to delete a range of historical data for a specific instrument.

Does anyone have any utility that allows to completely clean up the database? l am looking for this option even if the DB has to be completely reset (including all data)

Hi,
You can also delete your database to clean everything up. Go to Start--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.0 or 6.5 (whichever one you are using)--> DB--> NinjaTrader.MDB. Now right click on NinjaTrader.MDB and select 'Delete'.
Make sure the application is closed when you perform this action.
When you restart the software a new database will be created automatically.
