Hi,

I cannot manage to bring up the chart for the FTSE 100 (in google the symbol is .FTSE) I have manually added the symbols for the 100 companies that comprise the FTSE 100 in instrument manager but I cant get this final one to work. Could it be an issue with the symbol starting with a "."?

Thanks

Hi,

I know this is not a bug report but Im tearing my hair out and was wondering if you could help. I love the addition of the google data connection as i find it much faster for long term charts than IB (and the data stretches back much further). However, I cannot manage to bring up the chart for the FTSE 100 (in google the symbol is .FTSE) I have manually added the symbols for the 100 companies that comprise the FTSE 100 in instrument manager but I simply cannot get this final one to work. Could it be an issue with the symbol starting with a "."?

Thanks

spinalwiz, it seems that Google has changed the layout of their historical data for indices, this should be fixed in our next Beta release. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, we appreciate your help.

Hi,

I saw the release notes stating this was fixed but I still cant access any indices through the Google connection. In Google finance they are accessed through .dji .ftse etc. but can't get these to work in Ninjatrader - any suggestions?

I just downloaded daily data for .FTSE from Google no problem.

Please make sure you are on NT7B5. Thanks
