Ninja has stopped recording market data, I got a minute or so yesterday and nothing today. I was connected to the same live feed I have beed using (IB) and haven't changed any of my settings. I have confirmed the store real time bar data is checked, anyone have any experience with this problem?

In the message, please include the following:
1.) A link to this forum thread.
2.) Your log and trace files from yesterday's date.
You will find the log file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5 > Log > log.YYYYMMDD.txt
You will find the trace file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

Thanks Kyle, I sent the requested info for yesterday, I don't have either log or trace files with tody's date?
Does that tell you anything?

2.) This indicates that NinjaTrader was not restarted.

Hi Kyle, I never received an email regarding the market replay problem, but it started working so I didn't follow up. Now it seems to have stopped again, it shows a full days worth of dat but nothing shows up when I start my chart.
Do I need to have a chart open in Ninja for it to record the data?

Thank you for your reply.
Yes, in order for data to be recorded the instrument must be displayed in a chart, DOM or Market Analyzer window.

Hi again Kyle, I thought the problem was solved, but Thursday and Friday I had the exact same setup for Ninja, live feed, open chart, open DOM. I got data for Friday but nothing for Thursday? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jumping in here...
If this happens, look at you log tab during the time you thought you would be recording and see if there is a disconnection or some other notice in your log tab during that time. If you can't find anything, send us your log and trace files via help > mail to support and include a link to this thread in the email for our reference.

How do I look at different dates for the log?

The names of the files are dates. Usually the log files listed last are the most recent.

That's wjat I figured when I started looking at the files. There is no log file for the hate that is missing data, although Market Replay has a listing, and the play control has several hours supposedly recorded.

Hello Dale,
If you see recordings under 'Available Instruments' for the date you are connected, it should replay when you start the connection for the times indicated. Make sure you have the correct instrument selected in the NinjaTrader window you will use to replay the data as well.
I suggest to create a brand new chart when replaying the data as per the link below.

Check if it receives data for the times listed.
