NT won't accept a stop order for Liffe commodities (Cocoa, coffee).
responds with error....."not supported by exchange...."
These orders are accepted if I send them via my Pats Jtrader front-end. why Is this, and is there a resoultion to this problem?
btw, how do I paste a screen print here?

Please send your traces and logs to our support team "support AT ninjatrader DOT com" and reference this thread.
You can attach a screen shot by
- saving the screen shot as file
- attaching it to your post

Dierk, the same problem arises with SFE, where Stop orders are not native to the exchange.
I have sent you my logs and traces on an email, which provides more detail of the problem

Could you please let me know the resolution to this problem, as I am having the same difficulty. I am connected via Pats, and trying to place a sell stop on the SFE exchange. BTW, my Buy Limit went through ok, I just get that same message for my Sell Stop.

I removed some posts, since I got confused. The answer is: the originating message is thrown by your broker. Your broker needs to enable to order type in question for the instrument in question. You then will be able to place stop orders for that instrument. This solely is an account setup issue, there is nothing we can do.
