I'm running the latest version of NT. Currently, I'm running only 3 charts, 15 min, 1 min, & a 10 tick chart. The 1 min has 4 indicators on it, two of which use "live only" volume data. The 10 tick chart also has 1 indicator which uses "live only" volume data.

A few times each day, NT freezes, but will return to operating. Sometimes in a minute or so, sometimes it will take up to ten minutes. My operating system is Windows XP Media Edition, and I have an Intel820 Dual processor, with 4 Gigs of ram. When NT is frozen and I open my Windows Task Manager in the Applications tab, it shows NT as "Not Responding".

This seems to happen when the market is moving fast. Other applications on my computer will work during this time if I open them.

I think my computer is plenty powerful enough to handle this, but am I mistaken? I have been using NT for over a year and this problem has only surfaced recently, but I have only been using the live only indicators recently.

Any suggestions?

Could this be because NT is processing more ticks lately?

Sounds like your live only indicators are computationally heavy that gets hammered when there is a lot of volatility. Please try without them to see if it helps.

Good thought about the recent change in tick processing. I forgot to mention that this has been occuring before that started.

Please remove your custom indicators and see if you have issues then.
