Hello :)

I am new to Ninja Trader, having previously been using Tradestation.
I have been told that it is possible to Use Tradestation 8.2 indicators in Ninja Trader, without having TS8.2 open. However, i am not sure exactly how to do this.
Does this involve something along the lines of wrapping the existing Tradestation Easy Language code with NinjaScript code, and saving it all within a NinjaScript indicator?

Any insight into how i can get the ball rolling with this one would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
Jim.

Welcome to NinjaTrader. You need to recode your TS indicators in NT using NT's scripting language NinjaScript.

Thanks Dierk :).
NT6 looks like the real deal, & as a spot forex trader, I am glad to make the switch from Tradestation.

regarding the indicator, I was told i wouldn't have to fully convert it to ninjascript, but luckily it is only really one Support/resistance type indicator that i am referring to, & its not like i have 10, so it is possible.

Does anyone know of any custom S/R indicators available for NT6, that draw lines/a row of dots from a candles high/low or alternatively open/close, extending the line somewhat perhaps until the S/R level is broken?

I'll post a screenshot when i get to my work PC.

Also, is there a custom NinjaScript indicator library anywhere that NT6 users can search through?

Many thanks
Jim.

I suggest installing NT. Tools->edit NinjaScript->Indicators then will show you all indicators available
