When connecting to InteractiveBrokers with autologon NT7 enters my password in TWS UserName field and leaves TWS password field empty.

Unfortunately I can't reproduce. I just tried demo and live account, no problem.

If you are clicking your mouse around while it is loading up it might be possible that you click away from the text field when it is trying to input in the values and that causes it to not input anything?

It is 100% reproducible in my configuration. I just start NT7 and not clicking anywhere. Autologon starts automatically and enters my password in the second field, which in TWS is userName. Third TWS field - password - is empty. First TWS field in v898 is Region selection. Which TWS version are you testing against? I attached autologon screenshot.

Apparently the region selection and may be even the "Select" button you have on your login form throws off NT. NT TWS autologon only would work with a standard logon form which would have these 2 additional options.

FYI the NT 7B2 Auto Login feature connects well to my live Interactive Brokers account.

Can you support both versions of TWS logon form? It's hard to find old versions of TWS on InteractiveBrokers web site. I suspect that many IB clients will have the same problem.

Not sure what you mean by "old". My TWS here is 898 as well. Guessing: it might be an installation option which would give you this box or not. I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling TWS and looking for options which would related to that issue.

I started to have TWS logon form with Regions in all TWS versions downloaded during last 6-9 months. Before that it was the same you have now. The the same (Regions) form appears on new instalations - new OS and new TWS. May be it's just IB UK site feature.

this region selection option comes up on my IB only after a new installation or upgrade. After a manual login to IB it doesn't show up any more.
Ninja can only handle the normal login.
