View Full Version : Chart not updating unless new workspace

As you can see from the screenshot attached, I have a DOM and chart for the same instrument up, I am connected, and yet the DOM has current price and the chart still has yesterday's price (from the time I shut off NT7 yesterday). Can't fix it by doing the Tools | Historical Data | Reload, either.

This seems to occur when I use the workspace "Untitled1." If I name a new workspace, I can get an updated chart of this instrument with today's data.

Which session template are you using as you create the ES chart? The default one would use the regular Cash session, so for 'out of cash' hours please try for example the 24 / 7 one and see if the chart updates as expected.

Okay, that worked, thanks.

I didn't think to check that because it was at night after the 10/20 session, and the chart was only showing the 10/19 data. So I guess it won't update at all after session hours. Good to know.
