Volume Average vs. Time intervals

Is there a way to automatically figure out what the average Forex volume is, say over a 1 year period at 24:00 using 60 minute bars?

Or over a 1 year period at anytime, using any time interval?

I could do it manually, but of course it would take hours.

This is not possible since there is no volume data with forex.

What do the Volume Bars stand for then when I use the VOL indicator on a Forex chart?

I suppose there is no way to find out the number of trades per minute with Forex also?

They are synthetic and have no value. NT internally needs to fill in a volume value for internal reasons.

Questions are not silly at all.
