Hi,
Is there a way to enable many strategies with a single click
("Universally Enable"),
or you would have to click on its strategy's "Enabled" checkbox separately,
thanks,

Hi trend, you would need to enable each strategy...on a connection loss event where you would have chosen to 'Keep running' option this would not be needed then as strategies would be 'parked' until the reconnect has taken place.

Try highlight each strategy in the Control Center strategy grid, right click and select Enable.

Hi,
1 - question:
What is the rationale behind not allowing "auto enable strategy on startup" - I guess there must be one if it is not available?
2 - request:
Can we have Global Hot Key for "Enable All Strategies (in the Strategies Tab of the Control Center)"
Thanks

universal enable- that's what I want.
Is it possible to make a strategy as set into the fabric of the chart as an indicator? So that on start up and after a trade it is still there?
I know most people will want to manually reset if their strategy consists of entry and exit signals- but I reckon there would be heaps of people who set strategies to make obvious through colour and shape- indicators that are not present.
Thanks

gregid,
1. This is dangerous for people who do not necessarily want to start up NT and have their strategies start running. Especially if it starts trading right away.
2. Thank you for the suggestion.
raycam,
Strategies do not disappear just because it finished a trade. It will show up on start up. Please clarify. Thank you.

Thank you Josh for the explanation. I understand this and in the light of this limitation let me stress again importance of Global Hot Key (point 2)
I hope it won't be a big problem to implement

Yes, but it's also very useful for some people. If something is dangerous, then provide an option so people can make their own choice. I'm all for warning people of the dangers of automated trading, but a major feature of the product is automated trading, and it's just not that automatic.
My number one request for automation would be scheduled start of strategies. That would be so useful. As it stands I do so much manual stuff and have to spend so much time at the PC just because things are not fully automated.
thanks

dave1992,
There are many liability reasons I will not dive into as to why strategies will not auto start. Thank you for the suggestion though. It is on our feedback list.

OK, well I could live without auto start, but scheduled start would be extremely useful.
Are you saying you'd have liability problems with scheduled start too?
With respect, I really don't want Ninja telling me when I have to be at my PC to click on loads of things to deal with my strategy. I want automated strategies. That means their template, parameters, start time, recovery from lost connection (which you have addressed) are all automated.
If it's Ninja policy to not automate some of these things because you don't trust the trader then I'd like to know about it, and I suggest you maybe sell an adult version of the software ;-)

Scheduled start suggestion was already added onto our feedback list. Thanks.
