Closed the program (1 workspace...10 charts) ...all charts set to maximum compression before closing....upon restart all charts are expanded about 10 levels of expansion...these should open up compressed the way they were upon close I believe...
Thanks...

Alfred,
Do you mean that as you closed, each chart was showing the maximum amount of bars possible and as you restarted, it showed less bars? If yes, can you reproduce each time? I tried to test this with only a single one minute chart and it worked as expected.

Ray...I shut down and restarted several times and it works the same...at shutdown there was max compression on 12 tick and seconds charts...at start up everything was auto expanded perhaps 9 to 10 levels (with Ctrl up/dn arrows)
Thanks...

Please do this.
- Start NT and move all charts to the main PC monitor
- Compress all your charts
- Take an image of your desktop
- File > Workspaces and Save
- Help > Mail To Support, make sure you "Workspace..." is checked
- Include the image
- In subject, include "For Ray" and reference this post
Thanks

Thanks Alfred. I received it. Strange enough, I can't reproduce the behaviour on all 12 charts but I can on one of them...hopefully that is enough to isolate and resolve this issue.

Ray...
Playing with this...closing and opening (eliminated 2 charts on 2nd monitor)...yes, often only 1 chart opens expanded now....but something else noted ...after restart and connecting and opening workspace (have 1 workspace with just the control window in it at startup)...often all charts start with the white triangle at upper right with nothing showing in windows...then clicking triangle and charts show OK...(except the for 1 expanded this time)
Thanks...

Now, today at 7 startup, almost all 11 charts opened expanded and remained expanded after connecting. (Sometimes at startup only 1 chart may be expanded though.)
Also noticed today when creating a new chart it always seems to come up expanded...I believe in 6.5 a new chart would come up compressed...??
Thanks...

Hi Alfred !
The both problems you experienced (starting with white chart and bar spacing expanded) are fixed and the fix will be available with the next update.
FYI: The problem occurs, when a non equidistant chart is restored while non equidistant chart defaults are in place. Maybe that helps in the meantime.
Thanks for reporting !
Kind regards,
Christian
