Asset list sort key for futures

Another suggestion for the overworked ver 7 team.

Most NT users concentrate on futures contracts.

NT ver 6.5 sorts these in asset lists in the instrument manager, and when selecting an instrument to load a chart etc using a sort key of instrument name/month/year.

I would find it easier if the sort key was changed to instrument name/year/month so that with multiple month contracts the bottom one in the list would be the latest.

I know you are also committed to a continuous contracts feature -great - where do they appear in selection lists?

Thanks for the suggestion. We don't support continous contracts in the traditional sense. Just load ES 12-09 and go back 60 days for example, NT will transparently merge historical data from ES 09-09 and back adjust it for you.
