I don't know if this is just a coincidence, but after a automatic patch two days ago on my 64bit Vista, my Strategy Analyzer runs much slower. When on the trades tab, I can only highlight one trade and chart it. After that, I get an "application not responding error".
Prior to the patches, I was able to select any number of trades to chart.

Do you experience this running our SampleMACrossOver ?

Do you experience this running our SampleMACrossOver ?
- I just updated my 64-bit Vista
- Ran backtest on SampleMACrossOver
- Trade tab and sent many trades to a chart
--> Working as expected here
Let me know if you experience something different with our SampleMACrossover strategy.

Sorry Ray,
Just got back. I forgot to mention I'm running SP2. I tried some optimizations and NT runs better. It now freezes after I open and close several charts from the trade list.
My Vista machine shows 1.08 GB of RAM used once Windows boots without any applications running. I've got 2GB Ram installed. I'm ordering two more.

This happens with the SampleMACrossOver?

No, I'm sorry Ray. I haven't tried it yet. However, using the same strategy as I used before which is admittedly more complex, my system now behaves worse. the only time-correlated event is the patch.

Lets wait until you get additional RAM. 2GB is not so much for 64-bit. My 64-bit machine has 8 GB RAM.
