IB New Download

I got a message from Interactive Brokerage. Version 892.7 will be desupported on 20091023. Minimum Version supported is 893.0.

What do I do to coordinate with Ninja Trader?

With the current release of NinjaTrader (6.5.1000.13), you will need to use TWS version 895.3.
Please do not upgrade TWS to any later versions as this can cause various issues.

I downloaded the correct version now from http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/support_interactivebrokers.htm.

When I try and set up my IB account information in NinjaTrader it only gives me options for Barchart.com, esignal, GAIN, IQ Feed, Open Tick and Yahoo.

Thats what it was, I was using Ninjatrader with the key that I received when I used Gain. Got a new key from your site and now all ok.

Yes, you can connect also to your IB Paper trading account for simtrading and realtime data - however to place orders to it, you would need to use a live license key instead of the Sim one you have now.

1.) We have no official recommendations. Perhaps another forum user could be of assistance with this.
