First, look at depth of market, it's not updating, frozen.
Second, everytime I go to enter an instrument in the dropdown, I get the popup error message.

funk101,
Please try using the Static SuperDOM. It seems like you are trying to use instruments not supported by the Dynamic variant. Or is it that you are already on the Static?

I never used the static DOM cause it costs per transaction and I trade the same instruments, ie. emini russel, sp, euro. This just started with NT 7.

Hmm. ER2 and ES should have told you to go to Static SuperDOM in 6.5. Please clarify.
As far as your frozen depth, please clarify what your setup is. What data provider? Do charts work? What about the Control Center's top left? Is it really frozen completely? Or is it just not updating fast?

I beleive you must have migrated over a workspace from 6.5 that had dynamic DOM licensed for futures but the license you are using in NT7 has static enabled? Just guessing.
Please start a fresh workspace, then open a fresh static DOM in NT7 and let us know if the dom is not updating correctly.

I frequently see a trail of stale bid/ask values on my DOM in NT7. I've been hitting the Center button to force it to refresh, which is an okay workaround until this is addressed.
I've attached an example from the last few minutes, which is tame compared to what I get when the market is moving! You can see a stale value on the bid in addition to the current best bid right below it.

Can you tell me the following:
- Who you are connected to
- A fresh DOM or did it open from a workspace
- Can you take an image of the SuperDOM properties and paste that in
Thanks

Sorry, I should have mentioned this happens on every feed I have, including ninja's Simulated Data feed. Fresh DOMs. Screenshot of settings attached! I'm also attaching another example of 'dom litter' made with the simulated feed.

Thanks! So based on your settings, does this only happen when you have "Show market depth" disabled? If yes, will make it easier on me I believe.

Disregard, I can reproduce. Thanks for reporting.

I don't run with depth showing during the day, but sitting here with the simulated feed right now I don't see any stray numbers appearing. So, I'd say "yes."
Always glad to make it easier on you. Rolling out big changes is a tough job, I know.

Refers to NT 6.5.1000.14, data supplied by Interactive Brokers.
I am trading highly liquid futures contracts such as ES, FDAX. From time to time some of the market depth fields of the DOM remain empty, although there are bids or asks. The total (6th row, option to display total activated) is always shown correctly, just some of the five fields are missing.
This also occurs during quiet periods, so it is definitely not linked to incoming ticks.
There are two reasons to assume that this is an internal NT problem of data handling:
(a) the total for bid or ask (6th row) is always correctly displayed by NT, i.e. the sum includes the values for the empty fields (if the API did not transmit the information, NT could not calculate the correct total...)
(b) at the same time all fields of the market depth are correctly displayed by TWS
This happened several times this morning, but I cannot command NT to produce empty fields, so I cannot include a screen shot right now. This is just another example of the small things that could be improved.
