OK, I have the strategy now and it works well.

Do I have to add the strategy to the chart every time or is the way to have the strategy automatically apply/start to a chart when I start ninja?

Since there are no actual orders generated in my scenario it would be nice if it was like an indicator.

I don't think there is but thought I would ask the experts.

For those of us with more than one strategy, this requires manually setting up and loading dozens of strategies each day. Is there any way to automate this process or otherwise reduce the workload? The same applies should NT require a restart mid-day.

Thanks!

You need to program a macro script to do this. autohotkeys is what i use.

I haven't played around with version 6.5 much but I assume this issue has been resolved now that there are 'workspaces' in NT (whereas 6.0 didn't seem to have them)?

No it is not, we will have some way to better manage starting/stopping strategies with NT7.

Hury up already I have to load 26 strategies one for every currency pair this is a real pain. I'm getting carpel tunnel syndrome. :(

This is an old thread but relevant.
How can I in NT7 start many strategies in one script?

freewind, you could unfortunately not auto start them programmatically, but you could 'batch enable' strategies from the strategies tab (mark the ones to be enabled, right click on one > enable).

This is an old thread but is there a solution for this in NT7?

Thanks for ringing our bell on this one freewind, unfortunately this is not possible with NT7 but we've assigned it # 12 in our product enhancement tracking system.

I agree it is absolutely important to be able to have a boot-save setup. I am position trading, and trades are open for monthes. unfotunately NT does not survive even a week without an issue which requires to reboot, restart, reconnect or whatever.

without being able to start unattended to the point where I have been before reboot, it will not become a real trading platform.

ideally would be a possibility to start strateggies from script, so I can write code to make sure the account is in synch, etc and inform me by mail if there has been an issue.

maybe there is already a script function to start a strategy, and I could use it even now?

thanks
