I am trying to figure out a way to enter a stop order on the DOM when I'm using a mouse without a middle mouse button. Specifically I'm using remote desktop from my iPhone and I can left click and right click but there is no middle click.

It would be great if one could right click on the DOM and select "enter stop" to enter the order. But I am not expecting that any time soon.

So my other idea is to install software on my computer that will detect a certain key combination (like Windows M or any key that's not used) and change it into a middle mouse button.

Is this possible? I really need to be able to enter orders from my iPhone.

Thanks

cunparis, thanks for the suggestion - I would suggest using Google to see if there's a HotKey program around that you can use to set this up - NinjaTrader 7 will include a HotKey manager per default - http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/NT7/NinjaTrader7.html

Ok I found a solution. You download AutoHotkey for windows (free) and then you make a script like this:

#m::MButton

and then you run it. Now Windows M will do a middle click.

This is great. Now I can enter stop orders on my iPhone.

Thanks!

Thanks for this...it works great for STOP orders...look forward to NT7 features that will provide a work-around as well.

That said, I sent a request to LogMeIn to add the Middle Mouse Button click to their exisitng 2 state mouse icon within the app...if you send them a similar request, please refer to ticket: 00638832 - Middle Mouse Button.
