Using OCO and ATM

I am trying to enter the market using entry stops on both sides of the market, and I need exit orders attached to them using ATM. If I have an ATM attached, I cannot place the OCO in a timely fashion because it makes me reset the ATM by changing it to "none" and then changing back to the ATM exit strategy.

How do I place orders on both sides of the market without having to reset my ATM? It takes too long to do this.

Hello doug.ragan,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader support forum.

Please right click in your order entry window and select properties.
In the properties window, set the ATM Strategy Selection Mode property to a value of 'KeepSelectedATMStrategyTemplateOnOrderSubmission' and click OK.

With this setting, you will no longer need to reselect your template before placing the second order.
